Rather than give advice, today I wanted to share (3) focusing tips with you.
Often, my mind becomes overwhelmed with thoughts instead of focusing on work., so I make a day and time to just focus. Here are some of the things I do to help me improve that:
1. I set aside a day and time (for me its based on my mood)
If you're serious about this you need to make it a priority. This might mean waking up early to stretch and exercise or skipping lunch, often times staying up later than usual, but it's worth it if you want to see improvements.
2. Read, read and more reading
Focusing comes from good reading. Make it a habit to read, including different genres and styles of writing. This will help you develop your own style of focus.
3. Don't be afraid to cut out unnecessary focus techniques. What suits me may not be a good fit for you. Tighten up your focus skills and it will improve your pacing and clarity.
Keep these tips in mind as it takes practice and persistence, but with time and effort, you can become better at staying focus.
