One question always comes up after every decision or event: “And then what?” This, that and the third comes with the territory of living. Whether we’re on a new career path, entering a relationship, or even making the smallest changes in our everyday routines, we often find ourselves thinking about the next steps and outcomes.

I don't want to sound like I'm repeating myself but stop looking at the outcomes, but instead we can approach life with a willingness to adapt. When we ask “And then what?”, we should encourage ourselves to explore the worst case in a situation, allowing us to prepare for what comes our way in life.

Every “and then what?” moment is an invite.  Each decision we make can lead us down different roads, and with every road comes important lessons. Whether we succeed or not, experience makes us grow. Not to talk anything spiritual, but we control the narratives of the unknown; our journeys are often filled with twists and turns that shape who we have become. Moments, allows us to navigate life’s struggles with confidence.

Instead of us worrying about the next step, let's practice the present moment. By focusing on what we can control and letting go of the need to foresee every future happenings. We can reduce anxiety and make better thought out decisions. We are better in the present, we respond well to changes that way.

So you ask “And then what?”, remember that it’s not just a question; it’s an opportunity. Allow yourself to experience each moment, change “and then what?” into a beautiful symphony of the unknown!
